Anyone that knows me knows that I eat outside more than in my house. I am ALWAYS on the go! I usually eat the same thing every morning a breakfast sandwich (usually egg and sausage). It’s just really easy to eat in the car on my way to work and lets be real here its delicious. I’ve noticed that I have been gaining alot of weight super duper fast and it’s making me very insecure :-(. So I started thinking about what changes I need to make in my life so that I can achieve my goal which is … TO BE THE BEST ME I CAN BE ! I want to be a CRAZY SEXY BEAUTIFUL mama (I mean who doesn’t right?!). So I started thinking about my eating habits and I think we can all agree here fried egg sandwich every single day is just a bit much. I can feel my arteries clogging up as I write this .. talk about a heart attack coming soon huh ! So now I have to come up with some easy on the go breakfast meals to keep me full until lunch time. This delicious smoothie has everything your body needs, it’s flavorful, has lots of nutrients we need, it keeps you full long, and the kids will love it too.

Flat-belly Detox Water Challenge

IMG_20160421_1815471_rewind_kindlephoto-922422285

Let’s face it ladies, who doesn’t want a flat, sexy stomach? I’ve been trying to lose my “fat” tummy since I gave birth to my son. That was 15 months ago! I’ve done some workout videos, on and off, but I can never stay motivated to get far enough with the programs to see any results. It’s just so hard!

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately about drinking detox water, and how it’s supposed to help cleanse your system and make you healthier. Some even claims to help you lose weight! Doesn’t it sound too good to be true? That you can lose weight by drinking “detox” water? After doing some readings I found that the recipe I’m about to write about is the most popular among them all. This “delicious” water is going to help shed those stubborn  belly fats, giving you a flatter tummy.

To test out this theory a few coworkers of mine and I are going to do a 14-days challenge. For the next two weeks, starting this Sunday, we will be conducting two separate experiments.I will be drinking three bottles of detox water a day, one before breakfast, one before lunch, and one before dinner. My friends will be drinking a gallon of the water per day. This will help us to determine which method works best.

We will weigh ourselves before we start the challenge, and after we’ve completed the challenge, so that we can compare results and share it with you guys. Of course we will also provide inputs on the before and after conditions of our tummy. 🙂

You’ll need these basic ingredients: fresh lemons, fresh ginger, spearmint leaves, honey, cucumbers, and water bottles

To prepare this drink all you have to do is squeeze half a lemon into a bottle of water, add a few thin slices of ginger, add a few spearmint leaves, add one tablespoon of honey, and a few thin slices of cucumber.

Prepare this drink at night and leave it in the refrigerator to get cold overnight. In the morning drink it 15 or 20 minutes before eating breakfast. Repeat this process if you’re doing the three bottles challenge. If you’re doing the one gallon change then drink it throughout the day at your own pace.

It’s that simple! We challenge all of you out there to try out this recipe. Share your thoughts and results with us below. Don’t forget to mention which method you decided to use. We will be back in two weeks with our update. Have fun and drink detox water!

P.S. Don’t expect much results if you continue to consume massive amount of fast food everyday. This drink is not a miracle. You have to make a commitment in order to get good results.
